Robotics-Vex IQ- Youth (Half day)
Why VEX Educational Robotics?
• The largest robotics competition in the world.
• VEX Robotics is educational robotics for everyone. VEX solutions span all levels of both formal and informal education with accessible, salable, and affordable solutions.
• Beyond science and engineering principles, VEX encourages creativity, teamwork, leadership, and problem solving among groups.
• It allows educators of all types to engage and inspire the STEM problem solvers of tomorrow!
VEX IQ is based on plastic, snap-together pieces specifically designed to build highly functional robots. This system doesn’t require any prior knowledge in robotics. Students can easily build their first robot, and the wide variety of additional parts means that they can build anything they imagine as they continue to learn. Every kit includes a hand tool to make assembly and disassembly easy for small hands.

We are excited to share and introduce the VEX Robotics Program. Students in Grades 3-8. VEX Robotics hosts the world’s largest robotics competition for students all over the world to compete against one another using a robot of their own design. In the VEX IQ
Competition and classroom STEM concepts are put to the test as students learn lifelong skills in teamwork, leadership, communications, and more. VEX robotics programs are also connected with admission to some of the top universities in the world (including MIT), and have become an integral part of the coding and technology programs of top secondary schools in North America. We understand the role technology plays in preparing students for future employment opportunities, as well as providing an exciting opportunity to learn using our hands and minds. We have purchased the full VEX competition hosting infrastructure for this world-class competition to take place right in our center and are pleased to offer this program to our families.
